Description Financial Management: Oversee the school's financial operations, ensuring effective budgeting and resource allocation. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the school. Human Resources: Manage HR functions including staff records, recruitment processes, and personnel support. Compliance: Maintain adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements. Administration: Lead and manage administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Operational Support: Provide strategic and practical support to enable the school to function efficiently. Leadership Support: Allow the senior leadership team to focus on teaching and learning by managing operational tasks. Profile A successful Business/Office Manager should have: Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting and reporting Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within an educational or public sector setting Knowledge and experience in human resources processes and compliance Ability to manage administrative operations efficiently Excellent organisational and leadership skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and relevant administrative software Ability to work collaboratively with the Headteacher and leadership team Experience in compliance and regulatory frameworks A proactive and solution-focused approach to operational challenges Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise effectively Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peoplePrevious experience in a similar role within a school environment would be preferred. Job Offer A salary range of £38,221 - £40,778 per annum, depending on experience.
