Position: Lighting Engineer, Transportation Team
Our projects range from large infrastructure schemes to EV charging car parks, bringing digitalisation to lighting solutions and transforming lifestyles. Be part of collaborative design teams across the country and worldwide. With the rise of intelligent networks, active travel, and net zero carbon, this is an exciting era for lighting. Speak up and take the initiative to lead in emerging areas.
Work Flexibility: Typically, you will work from your base office two days a week and remotely three days. Office locations include Epsom, Chelmsford, Nottingham, and Warrington.
Your Purpose
* Deliver technical consultancy and design support for multi-disciplinary and exterior lighting projects.
* Liaise responsively with clients.
* Develop innovative low-carbon solutions with stakeholders.
* Support technical development, reports, and project management.
* Ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
* Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
* Mentor junior staff and promote sustainable lighting benefits.
What You Can Bring
* Experience in exterior lighting and electrical solutions.
* Knowledge of lighting standards and client requirements.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM plugins, Lighting Reality, and electrical cable sizing software.
* Experience with National Highways or local authority requirements.
* Ability to support multi-disciplinary project leadership.
* Stakeholder engagement experience.
* Experience in lighting surveys and assessments.
