Deputy Manager - Adult Residential
Location: Haverfordwest (SA61)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £14.60 - £15.20 per hour
Level 5 Qualified Salary: £15.10 - £15.70 per hour
Reporting to: Registered Manager
About Us: The Haven in Haverfordwest provides specialist support for 14 adults with Mental Health needs, Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, and Physical Health needs. We aim to encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves, gain confidence, and lead fulfilling lives. Our support ensures that every individual has a voice in matters that affect their lives.
What You'll Do: As Deputy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the daily operations of our supported living services. You'll lead and inspire a team of support staff, ensuring outstanding care and support in line with regulatory standards (CQC/CIW). This role offers autonomy and responsibility to make a difference while developing your leadership skills in a rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead by Example: Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of support workers, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
2. Service Coordination: Oversee daily operations, ensuring person-centred care and compliance with CQC/CIW regulations.
3. Rota Management: Manage staff scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
4. Quality Control: Conduct audits and assessments to maintain high standards and promote continuous improvement.
5. Supportive Leadership: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance, and handle crisis management and safeguarding.

Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing and leading a team
* Ability to deliver high standards of person-centred care
* Support the Home Manager in achieving financial targets
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
