Interim Purchasing Manager – Sheffield – Competitive Salary
Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be working exclusively with a dynamic aerospace component manufacturer business in Sheffield, which is looking for an Interim Purchasing Manager to support their team for a 6-month fixed-term contract.
As Purchasing Manager, you will manage the inbound supply chain, utilising best practice to ensure all required materials and services are delivered to Operations on time
Working Hours / Benefits:
* 8am – 4pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8am-1pm (Friday)
* 25 days holiday + bank holiday

Required skills & experience:
* Previous experience in a technical environment (Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas)
* MRP experience and strong Excel skills
* Strong communication/negotiation skills
Key Duties:
* Negotiate and manage long-term supplier agreements to ensure pricing stability and service performance
* Lead and develop the Purchasing team to deliver business objectives
* Ensure KPIs for cost, delivery, and quality are consistently achieved
* Build strong supplier relationships to improve performance and resolve issues
* Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and drive continuous improvement
* Optimise supply chain and inventory through forecasting, stock strategy, and cost reduction initiatives
