Daily Rate: £130 - £161 per day - dependent on experience and qualifications
Tradewind Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to join our pool of talented educators for the new academic year: September 2025. We work with a range of vibrant and inclusive primary schools across Blackpool, Flyde & Wyre who require flexible cover for planned and unplanned absences. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in different school settings, build your professional network, and make a real difference to the learning of young children.
Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively, ensuring continuity of learning.
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils in different classes.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school's behaviour policy.
* Provide a safe and stimulating learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with school staff regarding pupil progress and any relevant information.
* Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments and routines.
* Maintain a professional manner and uphold the school's ethos.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils in accordance with school policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Are adaptable, flexible, and able to work in different school environments.
* Are confident in managing classroom behaviour.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are reliable, punctual, and professional.
* Are passionate about working with children and supporting their learning.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience teaching across different key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
* Experience working with children with diverse learning needs.
* A flexible approach to travel within the local area.
