Estates & Valuation Team Leader
Day Rate: £500–£600
Contract: End of March 2026 with high likelihood of extension
Location: Lincolnshire (1 day per week required in the office)
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced property professional to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering estates and valuation services within the public sector. This senior-level interim role plays a key part in managing and shaping a diverse property portfolio to support service delivery, long-term financial resilience, and wider community objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Chartered Surveyors and property information specialists, ensuring effective operational delivery across estates management, valuations, and property records.
* Oversee high-value and complex property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease events, and asset valuations.
* Provide strategic property advice, covering areas such as estate optimisation, planning, rating, and compensation.
* Ensure compliance with relevant statutory frameworks and professional standards, including RICS, CIPFA, and IFRS.
* Represent the organisation in external negotiations and partnerships, supporting the achievement of key objectives.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and innovation within the team.
About You:
You’ll be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with:
* Significant post-qualification experience in estates and valuation, ideally with exposure to public sector portfolios.
* Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
* Strong commercial insight and the ability to manage projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to maintaining professional standards and driving service improvement.
