Social Worker
Lancashire County Council are currently seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their Duty and Assessment team in Preston and South Ribble. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children and young people, enabling you to make a positive difference in their lives.
The Role
As a Social Worker, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Assessing and managing risk to children and young people
2. Planning and delivering interventions to support children and their families
3. Maintaining accurate records and completing reports
4. Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies
The Requirements
The successful candidate for this role will have:
5. A recognised Social Work qualification
6. 12+ months experience as a Social Worker
7. The ability to manage a caseload of between 15 and 22 (depending on the function)
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
