Sales Development Representative Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire (Hybrid – 2 days in office) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 17:00 Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 base, OTE £45,000 – £52,000 (dependent on experience) Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Sales Development Representative with SaaS experience to play a pivotal role in identifying prospects, generating new business, and supporting sales pipeline growth. This fast-paced, dynamic role will involve close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to drive company growth. Key Responsibilities of a Sales Development Representative: Research, identify, and engage potential prospects to drive new business opportunities. Build brand awareness through outbound social media, phone, and email outreach. Schedule appointments and follow up on leads to nurture sales pipeline. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on strategies, including account mapping and ABM (account-based marketing). Use CRM software to track leads, manage activities, and maintain accurate records. Keep current with industry developments, market trends, and competitors. Provide regular updates and reports on progress and outcomes. Continuously develop skills and share best practices across the team. Key Skills of a Sales Development Representative: 3–5 years of experience in sales, with 3 years in outbound SaaS SDR roles. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with confident, engaging storytelling ability. CRM proficiency essential; experience with LinkedIn and AI tools desirable. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills. Strong organisational, time management, and analytical abilities. Adaptable, team-focused, and driven to learn and grow. Degree in business or related field desirable. Knowledge of protech and fintech sectors desirable but not essential.
