Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager – Royston, Hertfordshire – 6 Partner Firm
Are you a Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager looking to join a growing firm in the heart of Royton that can offer clear progression to Partner
Our client is a 6 Partner firm based in Royston who operate within accounts, tax, advisory and audit. With over 70 members of staff, the firm are growing rapidly and are looking for individuals to join the team and work on a varied portfolio of clients. Often describing themselves as “big firm capability, small firm culture” they offer a breadth of services you might expect from a large practice but packaged in a friendly, always contactable manner.
Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager responsibilities include:
* Providing technical advice on a wide range of UK tax matters including CGT planning, IHT planning, business succession and exit planning, share reorganisations and restructurings, and property tax matters
* Supporting Partners in delivering complex advisory projects
* Preparing technical reports and client-facing documentation
* Identify tax planning opportunities within the existing client base.
* Liaising with HMRC on technical matters where required
* Overseeing the preparation and review of personal, corporate, and trust tax returns
* Acting as day-to-day contact for tax matters for a portfolio of clients
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
As a Mixed Tax Manager or Senior Manager, you will be/have:
* CTA qualified preferred (or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified with strong tax experience)
* Strong UK tax technical knowledge
* Experience within a UK accountancy practice is preferred
* Demonstrable experience in capital taxes planning (CGT, IHT)
* Experience managing client relationships and handling advisory assignments
