Thrive Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school near Cirencester. This is a long-term supply position starting in early May and continuing through to the end of the academic year.
This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for a confident TA who is comfortable working across the whole school. You will be supporting pupils both within the classroom and on a one-to-one basis, including working closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support across a range of year groups
Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils, including those with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Help maintain a positive and structured learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Proven experience supporting children with SEN
A flexible and proactive approach to working across different classes and age groups
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
The Role:
Full-time position (5 days per week)
Long-term placement until the end of the academic year
Start date: Early May
