Job Description
JOB SPECIFICATION
Reports to: Finance Director
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Based: Glasgow HQ
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Prime Trading Group is looking for an organised, self-motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk within our Glasgow Head Office.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will work well in our office environment, and who can grow their career alongside the firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the tracking and recording of all purchases made on credit from suppliers, providing a comprehensive record of outstanding payments and facilitating effective cash flow management as part of our Accounts department within this growing business.

ABOUT YOU
You will need to be very hands-on and have a ‘can-do' attitude. You will be very much a people person. You will have the ability to maintain good client relationships and have excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

12. Match purchase orders to delivery notes and invoices
13. Query any overcharging on invoices
14. Check Supplier statements
15. Run an aged creditors list and chase for invoices where Direct Debits have been placed on account with no invoice to match to
16. Reconcile suppliers’ statements - That all invoices have been received and outstanding value is correct
17. Raise payments through Sage Intacct & generate weekly payment run
18. Raising invoices
19. Assisting in sending out the weekly invoices
20. Ordering stationary
21. Procurement.
REQUIREMENTS:

22. Proven experience as Purchase Ledger Clerk or equivalent
23. Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles
24. IT Literate, including MS Office
25. An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
26. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
27. Experience within Security Industry would be an Advantage!
Due to the nature of our business, all employees are Security screened to BS7858:2019 Security Screening standard. For people who do not currently hold an SIA License a Basic Disclosure check will be included within the screening process.
