This role will primarily involve night shift cover, providing specialist mental health assessments and interventions within a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for patients referred to the Liaison Psychiatry service. Provide rapid risk assessments and formulate management plans for individuals presenting with acute mental health needs. Offer short-term therapeutic interventions and signposting to appropriate services. Work collaboratively with A&E, medical wards, and crisis teams to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records in line with NHS standards. Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and escalate concerns as necessary.
