Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity at a school in Bedminster needing PPA cover until July, starting September 1st. You will work with all year groups in a school that values diversity, catering to children aged 3 to 11. Your role will involve ensuring continuity of education by covering short-term teacher absences and delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing high-quality teaching and instruction to primary school students.
2. Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment by adhering to school policies.
3. Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
4. Following and adapting lesson plans left by absent teachers.
5. Collaborating with staff and school leaders to support student development.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
* Experience working with primary-aged students, as a Supply Teacher or similar.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility to work in different schools and environments.
* Valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or willingness to obtain one.
