*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This position requires a commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.*Duties** Carrying out services, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.* Communicating with the Service team.* Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.* Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.Work range required – Servicing, brakes, steering suspension components and tyres.Type of Repair Work preferred – Clutch, Cambelt & Turbo replacementsMOT License holders - PreferableTyre fitters - Preferable*Experience** Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.* Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.* A valid MOT testing licence is desirable for this position / can provide training to work towards MOT licence.Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar position and hold a current full driving licence.
