A dynamic and growing exhibition business is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead new business sales and drive the commercial growth of its events. This is a high-profile, client-facing role with the opportunity to shape the exhibition’s development in partnership with the leadership team.
The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for securing exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities, developing new business pipelines, and building strong, long-term client relationships. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Managing Directors, the role will contribute to the strategic growth of the exhibition while ensuring exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver new business sales of exhibition space and sponsorships, meeting or exceeding targets
* Maintain and grow a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and client engagement
* Develop and manage client relationships throughout the show cycle to maximise value
* Create high-quality proposals and respond promptly to client enquiries
* Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue growth opportunities for the exhibition
Requirements:
* Experienced in B2B commercial sales, ideally within exhibitions, events, or sponsorships
* Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
