Overview
This is an exciting opportunity within Outpatient Services. The Receptionist's core working hours are Monday to Friday between 8am - 6pm. You will have excellent Customer Service Skills and be committed to providing a first class service.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients at Reception, checking and updating personal details while maintaining patient confidentiality.
* Using the Hospital PAS and other relevant booking systems, arrange follow up appointments and update details accurately and efficiently.
* Deal appropriately with enquiries both by telephone and in person and communicate in a professional manner.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE standard.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Competent in the use of computer systems including Microsoft packages and Hospital PAS.
* You must be able to use your own initiative and respond to queries within and outside of the Organisation with a professional manner to patients, relatives and staff.
