Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Minimum of GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent
* Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
* Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
* Stock control experience or understanding
* Capable in using computers and software generally
* Able to work on own initiative without close supervision
* Able to prioritise workload
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
Duties of this role include:
* Active participation in the Materials Department, providing effective materials management services to internal customers and achieving departmental KPIs
* Effective management of hospital stock to facilitate efficient supply of consumables
* Ensure stock availability through correct order processing and replenishment
* Carry out departmental top-ups as required
* Provide Theatre Pick to Case Service
