IT Infrastructure Analyst role at Callen-Lenz. Vacancy reference CLA-374. Position: Full-time. Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. Salary: £35,000- £45,000.
Callen-Lenz specialises in crewed and uncrewed aircraft operations and technology. We are expanding and seeking key roles to assist with these changes. About The Role
Working within the IT Team, reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, this role will focus on the deployment and support of the applications, tools, servers and networks required for the delivery of the IT service. The systems are predominantly on premise, including some offline air gated ones.
Responsibilities
* Deployment and support of infrastructure to support the provision of the IT service to staff.
* Deployment and support of applications installed on the servers.
* Work as part of the IT team to ensure compliance with the company\'s cyber security policies and external accreditations, including CE+ and Secure by Design.
* Undertake regular operations tasks such as backups, patching, DR testing and capacity management.
* Creation and maintenance of documentation.
* Perform other IT related duties as required.

Qualifications
Skills and Experience
A levels/BTEC in STEM subjects or relevant IT qualification.
Essential
* Strong experience in a similar role.
* Experience supporting and deploying WAN / LAN networks, switches, firewalls, VPN.
* Experience supporting and deploying servers and storage technologies; Windows and Linux.
* Experience of virtualization and containerisation, Hyper-V and Docker.
* Experience of DHCP, DNS, SMTP and certificate services.
* Experience with the implementation and support of server-based business applications, e.g. software engineering, CAD, document management, Jira, GitLab.
* Experience with Backup and Recovery tools to support DR and Business continuity plans.
* Experience with on-premise and cloud identity services, e.g. Microsoft Entra and Active Directory.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Desirable
* Ideally similar experience within SME organisations
* Experience in an engineering company
* Experience of IT systems within an MOD supplier
* Systems within secure/regulated environments
Personal Attributes
* Ability to complete out of hours work required when tasks cannot be carried out during normal working hours.
* Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK
* Due to the location of our office a driving license and own transport is required
* Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK
