Key account manager - Pre paid meters
Exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding successful and profitable company specialising in pre payment sub meters. Although this is a hybrid role with your UK Head Office located in Staines you will be required to travel extensively throughout the UK to on- board new customers. Fully expensed car provided.

Role Overview
Responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with UKs existing and potential client base. Focusing on strategic, high-value customers via our existing relationships with electrical wholesalers to develop significant potential for long-term growth and revenue via their customers such as housing associations, caravan parks, landlords and student accommodation. Reports directly to the General Manager and is a hybrid role.

Job summary
The Key Account Manager serves as the main point of contact and is the internal advocate for the company's new and existing clients. The core purpose of the role is to ensure client satisfaction, foster loyalty, and identify new business opportunities to expand relationships and maximize revenue.
Key responsibilities
Relationship management: Act as the primary liaison between key wholesalers and their customers. Build and nurture strong, trusted, and long-lasting relationships.
Strategic account planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with the client's business objectives and overall company goals. This includes identifying growth opportunities.
Customer satisfaction: Address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services.
Revenue growth: Protect and grow revenue within the account portfolio by negotiating contracts and actively seeking expansion opportunities.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as general manager and merchandiser to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Reporting: Prepare weekly reports on self-performance, and progress toward agreed targets.
Market knowledge: Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to the business.

Qualifications and skills
Experience: Proven, multi-year experience in account management, sales, or a similar client-facing role, with a strong track record of retaining and growing high-value accounts.

Strategic thinking and business acumen.
Superior organizational and time-management skills.
Salary and career path
Salary: competitive salary including performance-based bonus such as:
monthly teamed sales orders (measured by meters sold).
promoting product mix initiatives such as driving 3-Phase sales.
Progression: This role can lead to more senior positions, such as a General Manager
Car: Hyundai i10 or similar, or car allowance. Fuel card provided.
