Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Newbridge & Surrounding Areas)

About the Role
Zest Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors across Newbridge and the surrounding areas. Are you a graduate interested in beginning a rewarding career in education? Do you have experience coaching or volunteering with children and are now looking to take the next step towards teaching?
We work closely with a number of schools in and around Newbridge, many of which have a high demand for reliable Cover Supervisors with immediate opportunities available.
You will:
* Deliver engaging and interactive pre-planned lessons
* Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students
* Leave effective feedback for the classroom teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a focused learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Passionate about the development of young people
* Strong level of Numeracy and Literacy skills
* Experience working in a classroom environment (not required but desired)
* To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 20 days’ experience working with children or young people, or be a recent university graduate. Because Cover Supervisor work is so varied, we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds — including recent graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, dance teachers, playgroup leaders, and scout leaders.
