Our client is a global multi-asset manager with a strong presence in both public and private credit. They are continuing to grow, despite turbulent market conditions, and are looking to hire an experience associate within their Client Service team.
The ideal candidates will have experience with structured credit/CLOs and posses the confidence and ability to communicate with portfolio managers across the business.
It is vital in managing and enhancing investor relationships through effective communication and service, encompassing fundraising and ongoing engagement. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in liaising between the Marketing and Client Relations team and other departments, particularly the investment team. This role demands excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, alongside a proactive attitude towards developing marketing and investor relations strategies.
Effectively, the team covers several core areas within externally facing asset management including Investor Relations, Marketing, Client Service, Fundraising and Product, including being the product specialist function for the firm.
Responsibilities:
* Integral role in Client Relations, gaining insights into investor markets and communicating these insights to the global team.
* Serve as a primary contact for the sales team and potential/prospective investors, while nurturing existing investor relationships.
* Support fundraising efforts through the preparation and timely delivery of high-quality marketing materials, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
* Utilise key statistics to develop and communicate the market positioning of our product range.
* Coordinate investor update calls and organise annual strategy meetings.
* Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing team reporting, processes, and data quality.
* Participate in and at times lead the fundraising process, including oversight of the investor pipeline.
* Ensure marketing materials are compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
* Strong academic credentials and relevant experience in the credit markets (although this role is open to any asset class should you have experience acting as a product specialist).
* Commercial and financial acumen with exemplary numerical, oral, and written communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interact effectively with senior management and clients.
* Team-oriented with excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Proactive, confident, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
