Duties
* Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
* Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
* Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning.
* Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
* Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of hospitality principles.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting.
