Job Title: Social Worker – Referral & Assessment Team – Gateshead
Location: Gateshead
Pay Rate: £27.60p/h
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Referral & Assessment Team based in Gateshead. Opportunity to work within a Contextual Safeguarding Team, with support from Family Advocate and primarily working with teenagers at risk of harm outside the home.
What will your responsibilities be?
* Experience of undertaking Child & Family Assessments
* Section 47 enquiries
* Child Protection and Child in Need meetings
* Experience of undertaking initial Court and PLO work
As a Social Worker, you are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration.
* Be eligible to work in the UK.
* Hold a full UK licence.
* Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
* At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
