The Role
This Senior Financial Analyst role has fantastic depth and diversity with exceptional visibility to the entire business, as well as business partnering with all the majors senior stakeholders. The position is purely focused on forward thinking, and enabling the business to achieve & exceed it's strategic objectives.
A huge appeal of this role will be it's involvements in all facets of the business allowing for internal & organic progression to go in several different directions including M&A, Corporate Development, Commercial or FP&A.
The key components of the role include:
* Business partnering with senior stakeholders including C-Suite
* Aiding strategy, direction, and decision making through financial analysis, partnering & presentations
* Supporting with various strategic objectives including:
o o FP&A
o o Commercial & operational analysis
o o Investment appraisal & analysis
o o M&A and corporate development activities
Team Structure
The Director of the function is keen to add two additional heads (Financial Analyst & Graduate Analyst) to the department in the next 18-24 months, creating the perfect platform for the new Senior Financial Analyst to push up into a management position. This should allow for more menial tasks to be offloaded, allowing greater exposure & autonomy.

Candidate Profile
It's essential the individual has excellent analytical capabilities with advanced Excel & modelling exposure critical. Equally important is communication and stakeholder management, with a particular focus on ability to partner with senior & non-financial stakeholders.
The Employer is willing to consider 3 types of profiles:
1. A Financial Analyst operating with a commercial business that has good FP&A experience, & modelling exposure
2. An Accountant in corporate finance/transaction services looking to secure their first inhouse move
3. In individual operating within the investments/asset management sector seeking more variation & exposure such as valuations or a CFA Graduate Analyst.
