We’re working with a friendly and welcoming primary school near Slough to recruit a part-time SEN teacher (3 days per week). The school is looking for a class teacher to start in September, supporting a small group of 7–8 pupils. Previous experience in a specialist SEN setting or an ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) is essential. Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities Supporting pupils’ communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction Working closely with TAs, therapists, and families to meet individual needs Monitoring progress and adapting strategies to help pupils thrive Creating a calm, structured learning environment with consistent routines Requirements: ✅QTS (or equivalent) – primary trained ✅ Experience teaching pupils with additional needs in a SEN school or ARP is essential ✅ A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach to teaching ✅ Right to work in the UK & enhanced DBS on the update service (or happy to apply) At Supply Hive, safeguarding is a top priority.
