Our client is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to carry out installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and emergency callouts across Hampshire and neighbouring areas.
Key Duties
* Diagnose and resolve faults across Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and networking systems
* Install, maintain, test, and commission systems to industry standards
* Attend emergency callouts and participate in an out-of-hours rota
* Liaise with clients and Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC)
* Complete paperwork accurately and follow Health & Safety procedures
* Provide basic user training and system demonstrations
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Fire or Security engineering role
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
* Willingness to travel across Hampshire and surrounding counties
Desirable
* Knowledge of IP-based systems and networking
* Experience with systems such as Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom, Orisec, AJAX, Dahua, Hanwha, PAC, or Videx
