Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves ensuring successful commissioning of electrical systems and projects within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the commissioning of electrical systems in water treatment facilities
Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and regulations
Conducting site inspections and assessments for readiness
Preparing detailed commissioning plans and procedures
Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Performing functional testing of systems and documenting results
Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning process
Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements:
Experience in commissioning electrical systems on clean water projects.
Strong understanding of electrical principles and standards
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing commissioning documents
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Willingness to work on a contract basis
