Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, and managing a team of dental professionals and administrative staff. Duties
* Supervise and lead the administrative and clinical teams to ensure efficient practice operations
* Oversee financial management, including billing, and financial reporting
* Manage human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and staff welfare
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and legal requirements
* Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimise practice productivity
* Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction through effective team leadership
* Handle patient complaints or concerns with professionalism and tact
* Implement marketing strategies to attract new patients and retain existing ones
* Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement
Qualifications
* We are ideally looking for a candidate with prior experience within a dental setting.
* Experience with managing compliance systems and CQC
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
* Prior knowledge and experience working with Dental EMR software
* Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to healthcare practices
* Experience in human resources management, including recruitment and staff development
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
* Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or business administration are desirable
* Commitment to a full-time position, including weekend support
* DBS Checked with the right to work with in the UK
