The Complex Care Assistant role involves supporting a male client in Harlow living with a brain injury and cognitive impairment, helping him live life to the fullest in his own home while promoting independence and wellbeing.
Main duties of the job
The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for providing full support with mobility and repositioning, using specialist equipment including a ceiling track hoist and wheelchair. The role involves supporting the client to attend appointments and activities using the client's WAV, as well as being comfortable around the client's friendly Labrador dog. No previous complex care experience is required, as full training and upskilling will be provided.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Basic care experience is required, with complex care experience being desirable. The successful candidate must be confident in driving clients safely, willing to learn and develop new skills, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities. Compassion, patience, and emotional resilience are also essential qualities.
