Global Highland have an exciting opportunity to work for their prestigious client in and around the Inverness area.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct annual and interim maintenance visits in full compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
* Install and replace gas appliances and heat emitters, ensuring all work meets relevant safety and efficiency standards.
* Install gas pipework and carry out strength and tightness testing in accordance with regulations.
* Replace and upgrade heating controls and system components in line with manufacturers guidelines.
* Perform Combustion Performance Analysis on gas appliances where required.
* Diagnose and investigate faults using technical documentation provided by equipment manufacturers.
* Respond promptly to reported gas leaks or suspected fume incidents, ensuring full compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
* Adhere to Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedures, including the application of appropriate warnings, labels, and safety notices.
* Accurately complete all required legal documentation using handheld PDA systems.
* Carry out pipework modifications and repairs, including pressure testing when necessary.
* Replace parts and components to complete fault repairs.
* Install or replace radiators, valves, and associated pipework as needed.
* Respond to daily reactive repair requests from the client in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintain a strong awareness of Health & Safety regulations,ensuring all work is performed to the highest safety standards.
* Participate in the on-call rota to support emergency or out-of-hours service needs.
* Undertake additional duties as required to support the operational needs of the business, with flexibility and commitment.
Qualifications & Experience
Domestic ACS Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1
Certifications: OFTEC and BPEC registration (as applicable)
Additional Qualifications: Unvented Hot Water Systems certification
Driving Licence: Full, clean, and current
Health & Safety: Strong awareness and understanding of relevant regulations
* Technical Skills:
o Confident using IT systems, including handheld PDAs
o Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
o Good communication skills
* Personal Qualities:
o Able to work independently and as part of a team
o Calm under pressure and adaptable
o Committed to high standards of workmanship
o Flexible and proactive approach to duties
