Role Details
* Role: Support Worker
* Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
* Shifts: Nights
* Full‑time: 42 hours per week
Duties
* Support people with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using person‑centred approaches to enable positive outcomes.
* Perform basic daily duties: medication administration, cooking, cleaning, paperwork.
* Provide emotional and practical support.
* Assist the people in our care to access community facilities and participate in community groups.
* Build a robust relationship with people in our care to promote independence and improve quality of life.
* Enable the people in our care to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests.
Person Specifications
* Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs, challenging behaviours, autism, and psychosis.
* Driving license essential.
* Ability to multi‑task.
* Good time management, organization, attention to detail and flexibility.
* IT literacy.
* Positive "can-do" attitude.
* Good communication skills.
* Compassionate, caring, positive personality.
* Genuine passion for making a real difference.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
* Works well as part of a team and individually.
