The Work You’ll Do
Commercial Account Managers are responsible for working with existing clients and new clients to sell company products, including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. This role will manage the sales process from BRFC to Close, leverage resources throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, and articulate the value propositions of Sovos’ products and services. You will collaborate with various departments, with emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation, and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals process.
More Specifically You Will
* Upsell and cross-sell Sovos solutions to customers in the existing client base
* Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales and grow pipeline opportunities
* Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts
* Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensure quota attainment
* Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
* Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction
* Leverage multiple communication methods
* Strong time management and prioritization skills
* Effective at territory planning and execution
* Ask questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities
* Mentor across the organization sharing best practices and messaging
* Demonstrate willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal partners, and client experiences
What We Need From You
* Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles
* 1-3 years’ experience as BDR, quota-carrying sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred
* Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com
* Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
* Business travel may be required to attend client meetings and conferences
* Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers
* Communicate complex concepts clearly
* Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems
* Utilize technology to fulfill work requirements and effective communication
* Proactively seek learning opportunities and learn from support for additional insight
* Understand how product works from Support perspective
