As a Supplies Assistant at our Tees Hospital, you’ll be a team player with good IT skills. You’re capable of working under pressure and you have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a Supplies or a Stores environment is beneficial, but not essential. We can give you training as applicable.
As a Supplies Assistant, you will:
Be a proactive member of our small team.
Receive, check, label, store and deliver supplies and products throughout the hospital, following the required procedures, which involves lifting and carrying of stores.
Picking and packing of items required for theatre procedures.
Assist in the control and issue of stock using the appropriate procedures and systems.
Support the department during stocktaking.
Complete electronic and/or manual record keeping processes in an accurate and timely manner, to the agreed format and standard.
