We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly in assisted living and dementia care. As a Home Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our residents while leading a team of caregivers to provide exceptional service. Duties
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Supervise and lead a team of caregivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
* Oversee medication administration and ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
* Foster an environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident health and well-being, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care, incidents, and staff performance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in senior care or assisted living environments is essential.
* A background in dementia care is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
* Knowledge of medication administration protocols is required.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A caring attitude with a genuine passion for improving the lives of seniors.
* Relevant qualifications in nursing or healthcare management would be advantageous.
