Booker are looking for a Learning & Development partner, who will be responsible for delivering learning for our sales teams; partnering key stakeholders, with a sales and performance coaching focus on excellent delivery of the core People Development & sales growth agenda, cultivating and reinforcing Booker as A Place to Get On and a Great Place to Work.
You will be responsible
* Developing and implementing relevant behavioural and sales skill development programmes to support the People Plan
* Delivering agreed experiential sales training to our sales teams, focusing on skill development and application of learning to drive high-performance
* Coaching our sales teams to understand self-led learning techniques and performance self-assessment (utilising robust performance metrics) to drive autonomous and high-performing colleagues/teams
* Working with key stakeholders to drive sales growth through agreed and sustainable learning interventions
* Working with the learning team to build relevant content for the sales academy – from new colleague to established and high-performing individuals
* Unlocking high performance and capability, enabling and supporting a coaching/ learning culture where our teams are able to deliver our core purpose and delight our customers
* Creating blended learning interventions, that are aligned with business objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are
* Working with key stakeholders to support succession planning and career development, delivering a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future needs
* Reviewing key cultural and capability needs to ensure interventions support appropriately
* Managing communication and engagement of stakeholders to ensure they are well informed on our People Development and Capability Plan
* Ensuring talent and career development interventions are designed, delivered and promoted inclusively
* Being informed on People policies, experienced and curious about the business and industries we operate in
* Using technology to collaborate on shared accountabilities, leading the way into a digital workplace
* Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
You will need
* Supporting a culture of continuous improvement to drive high-performing individuals/teams
* Learning & development design & delivery for technical & behavioural skills
* Consulting and Partnering
* Designing and executing project plans
* Commercial Know How
* Exceptional communication & stakeholder management
* Advanced Performance Coaching skills
* Able to take learning theories and translate into practical/applicable solutions
* Experience of developing, delivering learning utilising various approaches i.e. classroom, virtual, e-learning
* Psychometric profiling accreditation/understanding (ideally Insights)
* Understanding of the business/commercial awareness
* Proven experience delivering and designing sales training, soft skills & behavioural development interventions
* Building credible stakeholder relationships
