Location: Welshpool/Machynlleth
About the role:
To provide a high quality administrative support to the Housing Services in Welshpool. Respond to daily housing general enquiries received by telephone, e-mail, social media and face-to-face.
Provide support to people wishing to make an application to register with Homes in Powys.
Manage routine 'Homes in Powys and homeless applications, registrations, enquiries and verification, referring and working with Housing Officers.
Provide full admin support to all the Housing Officers.
About you:
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Able to be flexible and organised.
* Happy using computers. -
Pleasant and helpful manner when dealing with members of the public.
* Able to work well in a team.
What you will do:
* administrative and day-to-day housing management support.
* deal with general enquiries regarding housing and homelessness.
* management of routine 'Homes in Powys' and homelessness applications.
* assist the Housing Officers daily with general administrative duties e.g preparation of tenancy documents.
* be responsible for letting and the management of Housing garages.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £26,403.00-£27,254.00 per year
