Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School – Telford
Location: Telford
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Up to £570 per week
Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)

Looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work?
A forward-thinking secondary school in Telford is looking for a dedicated Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, paid role is ideal for aspiring educators who want to develop their skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and Humanities
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students who may require additional academic or emotional support
Helping students to stay engaged, build confidence, and reach their potential
Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management
Encouraging a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture
What We’re Looking For:
A graduate with a 2:1 or above (degrees in Psychology, Education, English, or related fields are particularly welcomed)
Someone who is patient, proactive, and motivated to help young people thrive
Previous experience working with young people—through mentoring, tutoring, coaching, or volunteering—is desirable
Available full-time from September 2025 to July 2026
