Job Description
Home Instead East Nottingham is currently recruiting Part-Time Care Professionals, with the main demand in the Ruddington area. While most calls will be local to Ruddington, travel to other areas may be required.
You will provide high-quality care and companionship to clients in their own homes, including:
1. Offering companionship and engaging in conversation
2. Stimulating and encouraging clients through activities such as hobbies, crafts, and clothing selection
3. Monitoring diet and eating (where required)
4. Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and eating and drinking
5. Providing medication reminders and administering medication
6. Supporting mobility, including assistance with walking
7. Accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and outings
8. Providing dementia and Alzheimer’s care
9. Offering respite and convalescence care
10. Running errands, collecting prescriptions, and helping with shopping
11. Helping with travel arrangements and overseeing deliveries
12. Performing light housekeeping tasks
13. Planning, preparing, and clearing away meals
14. Assisting with pet care and supervising home maintenance

Essential requirements:
22. A full UK driving licence with access to your own car
23. Class 1 business insurance
24. Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
