Working on complex engagements across multiple sectors ranging from FMCG, Industrial Manufacturing, Defence, IGH etc. this team is responsible for the pre-sales/sales, business transformation and technical delivery of SAP solutions and trusted to get it right first time.

The SAP Sectors Consulting team are technology focused professionals who work together to deliver KPMG Powered Enterprise though a standardised delivery model, which drives professional delivery to clients. You will work in challenging, purposeful and dynamic SAP transformations with teams using their functional knowledge and experience in Warehouse Management, coupled with their expertise in S/4HANA and cloud applications (e.g., SAP EWM) to lead and deliver exciting client programmes across a range of industries, with a heavy focus on supporting pre-sales activities and developing improvements, focusing on SAP innovations and extensions to Powered Enterprise.
What will you be doing?
1. Lead end-to-end warehouse management solution design for SAP S/4HANA programmes, covering both WM (Stock Room Management) and EWM architectures
2. Act as a functional design authority, ensuring consistency, controlled deviation from standard, and alignment to enterprise architecture across the delivery lifecycle
3. Drive fit-to-standard workshops, challenging legacy warehouse processes and aligning stakeholders to SAP best practices
4. Own the warehouse process architecture and functional taxonomy, including:
5. Inbound processing and receipt
6. Outbound processing and fulfilment
7. Internal warehouse movements and replenishment
8. Physical inventory and stock control
9. Advanced capabilities (yard management, cross-docking)
10. Design integrated warehouse processes, ensuring seamless interaction with:
11. Materials Management (MM)
12. Sales & Distribution (SD)
13. Production Planning (PP)
14. Quality Management (QM)
15. Transportation Management (TM) where applicable
16. Provide functional leadership on S/4HANA EWM capabilities, including embedded analytics, Fiori applications, and advanced warehouse functionality
17. Oversee integration design with automation systems, 3PL providers, and non-SAP warehouse solutions
18. Define and guide data migration strategies for warehouse master and transactional data
19. Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex warehouse designs into clear operational outcomes
20. Lead and support pre-sales and business development activities, bringing functional credibility to client engagements
21. Build and mentor teams, developing warehouse management capability within the practice
What will you need to do it?
Functional & Solution Skills:
22. Deep functional expertise in SAP EWM and/or WM (including Stock Room Management) with strong end-to-end warehouse process knowledge
23. Proven experience designing and implementing integrated warehouse and logistics processes, including:
24. Inbound, outbound and internal warehouse operations
25. Handling Unit Management and storage strategies
26. Physical inventory and warehouse control processes
27. Advanced warehouse capabilities (yard management, cross-docking)
28. Strong understanding of integration points across Supply Chain and Finance, particularly MM, SD, PP, QM and TM
29. Expertise in SAP Activate methodology, with a strong track record of leading fit-to-standard workshops in logistics environments
30. Ability to define functional architecture and warehouse operating models, not just module configuration
31. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA EWM capabilities, deployment options and best practices
Experience:
32. SAP ERP experience, with time specialising in Warehouse Management / EWM on S/4HANA
33. Proven experience as a functional solution lead / SME across complex S/4HANA supply chain programmes
34. Delivery of at least 1-2 full lifecycle SAP WM/EWM implementations (design to go-live)
35. Strong track record in:
36. Leading fit-to-standard warehouse design workshops with senior business stakeholders
37. Translating operational warehouse requirements into scalable S/4HANA solutions
38. Designing enterprise-scale warehouse operating models within SAP
39. Experience across Advisory, Functional Solutioning and Pre-Sales support roles
40. Demonstrated ability to balance solution quality with delivery pragmatism
41. Experience leading multi-stream delivery teams (onshore/offshore)
42. Strong stakeholder management with the ability to engage and influence at CXO level
43. Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and leadership skills
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
44. Strong understanding of warehouse automation and integration, including:
45. Material Flow Systems (MFS)
46. Integration with 3PL providers
47. Experience working with advanced EWM capabilities in complex warehouse environments
48. Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail or Logistics-intensive sectors
49. Experience facilitating end-to-end warehouse design workshops and translating into functional designs
50. Awareness of digital supply chain trends, including:

53. Strong analytical capability and ability to translate complex warehouse operations into structured SAP solutions
54. Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced transformation environments
55. Proven ability to support business development and senior client presentations
56. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex warehouse concepts
57. Strong client relationship management, built on functional expertise and delivery credibility
58. Detail-oriented approach to solution design and governance in logistics environments
59. Self-motivated and capable of leading in dynamic transformation programmes
60. Strong commitment to continuous learning in S/4HANA EWM and supply chain innovation
61. Active focus on mentoring, capability development and knowledge sharing
