We're seeking a high-impact Procurement Advisor to join a specialist procurement and commercial team supporting the redevelopment of a major international oil & gas asset. What You'll Be Doing You'll act as a trusted procurement compliance and governance expert, partnering with commercial, legal, finance, HSE, and operational stakeholders to ensure procurement activity is robust, compliant, and commercially sound. Key responsibilities include: Leading procurement compliance and contract governance activities Advising procurement teams on sourcing, contracting, and negotiation best practice Driving Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) processes across suppliers, subcontractors, and JV partners Managing procurement risk registers, controls, and mitigation plans Supporting cost recovery and document management requirements Developing procurement templates, guidance, and capability-building initiatives Ensuring compliance with anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, tax, and regulatory frameworks Supporting procurement excellence across major capital and operational scopes What We're Looking For This role will suit an experienced interim procurement professional who can quickly establish credibility and operate confidently within a large-scale project environment. You'll ideally bring: 5 years' procurement experience within oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, or major projects Strong sourcing, contracting, and supplier governance expertise Hands-on experience with procurement compliance and CDD frameworks Deep understanding of procurement risk management and contract governance Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability across international teams Experience supporting large CAPEX or operational delivery programmes Commercial acumen combined with a practical, delivery-focused mindset Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems and structured procurement processes CIPS qualification or equivalent preferred Location & Working Pattern Hybrid role based in Middlesex, UK 3 days per week in-office / 2 remote Interested?
