Divisional Director – Residential Homes / Nursing Homes
Charity Organisation – Supporting people with Learning and Physical Disabilities
We are looking for a senior leader to shape and develop residential and nursing home services supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex needs. The role is strategic, responsible for service quality, operational performance, financial sustainability, and future growth across multiple services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the charity's residential homes and nursing homes
- Drive high quality, person‑centred service delivery and positive outcomes
- Ensure services consistently meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Lead financial performance, occupancy growth and budget management
- Develop strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and key stakeholders
- Reduce agency usage and improve workforce stability
- Lead service improvement initiatives and operational change programmes
- Identify and manage operational risks across the service portfolio
- Support the development and delivery of organisational strategy
About You
- Significant senior leadership experience within adult social care (e.g., Regional Director, Divisional Director, Care Director, Operations Director)
- Proven track record of leading multiple services and delivering operational improvement
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including budget management and performance accountability
- Experience working with regulators, commissioners and external stakeholders
- Strong understanding of services supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex needs
- Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) with ongoing professional development
- Ability to lead, influence and inspire teams across a large geographical area
- Full driving licence and own vehicle; ability to stay overnight occasionally; national role covering South East, Wales, Hereford, Shropshire, South Coast, and North East
