We are proud to be partnering with an award winning Housing Association with units nationwide, who are looking to appoint a Senior Lawyer - Litigation on a 3-month temporary contract
This will be a full-time position based in Norwich and whilst office attendance is not mandatory, the role will naturally involve some court work that will be typically in Norwich or sometimes Colchester.
The ideal candidate will have extensive disrepair experience, as well as supervising Paralegals.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Working in a Litigation team for a large Housing Association, covering a specialist gap left by both a vacant Head of Litigation (arriving June 2026) and a vacant Lawyer position
* Providing senior advice to Paralegals, as well as dealing with your own complex caseload
* Primarily focusing on disrepair cases, however experience in other areas of housing management would be beneficial
* Representing the Association in court when necessary, typically in Norwich but sometimes in Colchester
* Working with other patches of the Association, not working on cases but acting in an advisory capacity
Working hours:
* 35 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
