A new opportunity has arisen to join the Supplier Quality Engineering team. As a Supplier Development Engineer, youll support new product design, supplier development and project management activities with an immediate focus on our CMM and Industrial Automation product lines.
Responsibilities
1. Working with Design teams to understand critical features and performance requirements
2. Working with multiple GMSD functions to capture purchased item quality problem statements
3. Conducting and recording external supplier visits to both develop and manage new/existing supply
4. Working with Purchasing Buyers to identify and develop new suppliers and follow commodity strategies and mitigate future production supply risks
