Job Title: GCSE Maths/English Tutor
Location: Chesterfield (S43)
Payrate: £98-£108 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are hiring an experienced GCSE Maths/English Tutor to deliver tailored support beyond mainstream classrooms. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners within Chesterfield’s S43 community.
As a GCSE Maths/English Tutor, you will deliver tailored sessions to help students build confidence, raise attainment, and prepare for exams. Tuition may be provided in alternative provisions, homes, or community settings, requiring flexibility.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging GCSE-level Maths and/or English sessions
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
* Track progress and provide clear feedback
* Build positive, professional relationships with students
* Work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a GCSE Maths/English Tutor or similar teaching/tuition role
* Strong subject knowledge of GCSE Maths and/or English
* Driver only – must have access to a car and be willing to travel locally
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
* Patient, reliable, and committed approach
