Job overview
North Bristol NHS Trust has a dedicated team of volunteers focused on improving patient experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our volunteer service both administratively and operationally, ensuring a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for volunteers and patients alike.
Main duties
1. Conduct volunteer interviews and manage the onboarding process through NHS Trac system, resolving system issues as needed.
2. Ensure proper documentation and DBS checks are completed in line with Trust policies, maintaining volunteer safety.
3. Maintain accurate volunteer records, reflecting all activities.
4. Coordinate volunteer placements, rotas, and supervision with guidance from the Operational Support Manager.
5. Support volunteers throughout their placement to ensure a positive experience benefiting patients, visitors, and volunteers.
