We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Area Manager to oversee a group of care homes and ensure the highest standards of clinical care, compliance, and operational performance.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for supporting Home Managers, maintaining regulatory compliance, driving occupancy levels, and ensuring that all services operate in line with company policies and the Health & Social Care Act regulations.
You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting teams through change, and helping to develop and grow services across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Home Managers across a group of care homes
* Monitor and improve home performance, occupancy levels, and operational outcomes
* Ensure compliance with Health & Social Care Act regulations and CQC standards
* Conduct audits, governance reviews, and compliance visits
* Support the commissioning of new care homes and services
* Monitor risk management, sickness and absence levels, and performance KPIs
* Support managers through change management and service development
* Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
* Foster a positive culture that supports staff development and high-quality care
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting teams to succeed.
Essential Requirements:
* Active Registered Nurse (NMC PIN)
* Experience as a Care Home Manager or similar senior care leadership role
* Proven experience in auditing, governance, and quality management
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop teams
* Experience in business management and planning within care services
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards
* Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
Desirable:
* Level 5 NVQ in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
* Relevant postgraduate qualification xsngvjr
