We're looking for a Groundworks Assistant to join the Auger Team, covering St Albans. Our total package is worth £30,718
without overtime.

Financials
* Starting Salary - £26,984 or above dependent on experience
* Annual Bonus - approx £2000 - £2500
* 5.5% Pension Contribution - approx £1484
Overtime
* Optional weekend OT at 1.5x rate eg. 10 days would top up the package to £32,275
Working Hours
* 42.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri only & NO on-call work
* We pay door-to-door including all driving time
* Go straight to your job from home - you don't have to report to a depot or yard first
* Limited stay-aways, with bonuses/annual leave for more than 3 overnights per quarter

The Role
* Assist our experienced Engineers to complete a variety of jobs including repairs, investigations, excavations and reinstatement works
* Work effectively with other engineers in our team as required
* Learn all aspects of every engineering role at Auger
* Specialise in one area after a year and aim to become a junior engineer
* Communicate proactively with our Field Operations Team at HQ
Preferred Experience
* No previous experience is essential – we will provide you with all the training you need
* Some experience of groundworks or preferable
