Stock Controller Assistant
* Location: Ipswich
* Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30 (flexible hours considered)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller Assistant to join a leading operations and procurement team at their busy Ipswich-based facility. This dual-function role combines essential stock control with comprehensive administrative support, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies in inventory to maintain system integrity.
* Manage stock movements, coordinate deliveries, and resolve any related issues promptly.
* Support procurement processes including the creation of purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and managing documentation.
* Assist with general office administration tasks, ensuring smooth operation of office activities and coordination of mail and deliveries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
* Proficiency in using spreadsheets and basic office software.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Experience in procurement or office support roles and familiarity with stock management or purchasing systems.
