Science Teacher – SEND school in Medway

We're working closely with a fantastically supportive specialist school in Medway who are on the lookout for a qualified Science Teacher.
Contract: Full time – September until July 2026 at least
Salary: £163 to £223 per day
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated science lessons tailored to the diverse learning needs of students with SEND.
* Adapt teaching methods and resources to ensure accessibility for all learners, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, and other complex needs.
* Use hands-on experiments and interactive activities to enhance understanding and engagement in scientific concepts.
* Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to provide individualized learning and emotional support.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for the role.
* A degree in Science or a related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, etc.).
* Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH needs is desirable but not essential.
* A resilient and adaptable approach to teaching, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
* A genuine passion for empowering students with SEND and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with support staff, specialists, and families.
