Allocations Officer – Temporary Accommodation Ashford Temp Full Time Manage temporary accommodation placements and provide frontline housing support to ensure residents are matched to suitable properties efficiently and safely. THE ROLE As an Allocations Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of temporary accommodation, ensuring clients are allocated suitable properties and supported throughout the sign-up process. Key responsibilities include: Match clients to available temporary accommodation, ensuring suitability and completing all associated paperwork accurately. Set up rent accounts and provide guidance on rental payments to maximise income collection. Maintain safe and compliant accommodation by ensuring health and safety standards are met and certificates are in place. Act as first point of contact for landlords and tenants, resolving tenancy issues and ensuring contractual compliance. Coordinate transfers, closures, and movement within the temporary accommodation stock to optimise usage. Maintain accurate electronic records and prepare reports for management and statutory reporting requirements.
